At the invitation of the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Finland, representatives of the Czech Battery Cluster, z.s. (hereinafter referred to as „ČBK“) visited the Finnish cities of Vaasa and Helsinki from 21 November to 23 November 2023.
The aim of the event called „CZECH-FINNISH BATTERY DAYS“. was to present the state of the battery industry in both countries and to establish possible business cooperation between representatives of Czech and Finnish companies, municipalities and universities.
BatteryCheck, Foxconn CZ, Kovohutě Příbram nástupnická, Brno University of Technology, CEITEC (Central European Institute of Technology), Czech Technical University in Prague, VÚTS Liberec, Bulfinger Tebodin and ZEBRA Group participated in the event.
Finland was represented at the event by representatives of the Ministry of Economy and Employment, Fortum Battery Recyclig, StoraEnso, City of Espoo, Business Vantaa, City of Lahti, Merus Power, Metso, City of Helsinki, CLIC Innovation, Caruna, City of Pori, BroadBit Batteries, Cellife Technologies, University of Helsinki, VTT Research Centre of Finland, Aalto University, Ostrobothnia Chamber of Commerce, EnergyVaasa, GigaVaasa and Wärtsilä and others.
