On 14 December 2022, the first Annual Meeting of the CBC took place in the premises of Kovohutě Příbram nástupnická, a.s.. The cluster is obliged to convene once a year according to its valid Statutes.
The meeting was attended by representatives of companies (Agile Europe s.r.o., EVC Group s.r.o., Kovohutě Příbram nástupnická a.s., PinFlow energy storage s.r.o., Pipette & Chart, s.r.o., ŠKODA ELECTRIC a.s., ZEBRA GROUP s.r.o.) and universities (Brno University of Technology, University of West Bohemia in Pilsen and as guests representatives of the University of Technology in Prague and Czech Technical University in Prague).
The agenda of the meeting included a presentation of current information by the members of the CBC Board on the membership base, marketing and finances of the cluster and an outline of the plan of activities for 2023. Furthermore, the system of on-line and attendance at meetings of the CBC members was approved. In the block of presentations by CBC members, Jiří Vrána from Pinflow Energy Storage presented its production program in the field of flow-through redox batteries.
The programme of the annual meeting of the CBC was concluded with a tour of the premises of Kovohutě Příbram nástupnická, a.s., which was hosted by the Vice-Chairman of the CBC, Viliam Blumtritt. The excursion included a tour of the smelting plant for recycled battery lead and the Li-ion battery recycling line, which is planned to be launched in the near future.
