On 12 September 2022, CBC Chairman doc. Ing. Tomáš Kazda, Ph.D. and Ira Saul Rubenstein participated in a meeting with Vice-President of the European Commission Maroš Ševčovič,, representatives of EIT InnoEnergy, representatives of the European Commission, representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic and representatives of Czech companies at the headquarters of the European Commission Representation in Prague.
Mr. Ševčovič mentioned the need to support the battery industry and the need for Europe to secure its own sources of materials, and indicated support for the CBC. Representatives of individual companies and the CBC then presented their views on the development of the battery sector and its needs.
