University of Pardubice hosted on 28th February 2023 the attendance meeting of the members of the Czech Battery Cluster- The meeting was attended by representatives of companies (Agile Europe, Centrum organické chemie, EOLA, EVC Group, Kovohutě Příbram nástupnická, ŠKODA ELECTRIC, ZEBRA Group) and universities (ČVUT Praha, University of Pardubice, VUT Brno).
On the agenda there was a presentation of the activities of CBC from the beginning of 2023 in the areas of marketing/external relations, acquisition negotiations and offers of cooperation on EU grants. A general discussion followed on the issues of the battery concept of the Czech Republic, construction of battery factories (gigafactories) and green energy technologies.
After the meeting, the CBC had a field trip to the laboratories of the FEI – Department of Polygraphy and Photophysics under the leadership of Assoc. Prof. T. Syrový. Here, the members of the CBC got acquainted with the laboratories and analytical methods used for research on printing technologies, including printing of sensors and active layers based on organic and inorganic materials, including for the field of batteries.
